How much does a Disneyland Paris trip cost?

The pricing for Disneyland Paris varies wildly for many reasons. I’m asked all the time about the cost of a Disneyland Paris trip and it’s one of the hardest points to answer. What is the average cost for a family of 4 to Disneyland Paris or just 2 adults when Disney Paris planning? It can be a little overwhelming to find the best value for money. How much does a Disneyland Paris trip cost per day also varies dramatically between clients.

One thing is for sure, a Disneyland Paris holiday is more achievable than ever for many and it’s the best value for money it’s ever been! But the cost of flights vs ferries or LeTunnel, hotels and theme park passes add up, so planning your first Disneyland Paris trip can be very overwhelming. That’s where the Fairy Godmother comes in. You can skip this article and jump straight to booking a call with me. Or check out below the elements of your holiday that adjust the price, as well as an overview of those hidden costs for consideration!

There are operators that can offer a 1 nights coach trip to Disneyland Paris from £199pp and FREE kids. If you decide you would rather fly and save on travel time there are times of day, and days of the week to consider. Don’t forget the hidden extras too with seat selection, meals and even luggage (Easyjet no longer offer a large cabin bag as standard).

Accommodation for Disneyland Paris

At time of writing there are 8 resort hotels and 7 associated hotels at Disneyland Paris from 2* hotels and camp grounds to 5* ultra luxury over the Park gates. Your options come in all shapes, sizes and costs! As a Disney specialist, I split them into on-resort (I.e. a Disney hotel on the Resort) and off-resort hotels. Then we have hotels and aparthotels within the area. You can make compromises on your accommodation to save money. But I always urge people to weigh up the cost of adding your Park Passes (that are included in Resort packages) against the saving in accommodation.

Best length of stay for Disneyland Paris

There are a ton of nuances with duration, depending on your flights availability and day of the week 4 nights may be cheaper than 2 or 3 nights. As a minimum I recommend 3 nights. Which gives you up to 3 days in the Parks, one full day in each and a day for “mop up”.

Who’s travelling?

Under 9’s are cheaper for park tickets. Over 12’s pay slightly more in airline taxes and over 16s are adults. There are so many factors at play, and the ages of those younger travellers can change the total price of the holiday. Not to mention the cost of feeding a teenager vs the ice cream costs of a toddler.

Best time to go to Disneyland Paris?

The most expensive time of year is Easter, this is because the weather is improving in Paris and people like to leave the summer free for a “traditional” family fly and flop holiday.

My favourite time of year is the summer. The weather is dreamy and it’s not too busy in August as a lot of Parisians head to the South for the month! School holidays are a bug bear for many (including us agents – we’re affected too!).

On the Disneyland Paris website there’s a Price Estimate Calendar on each hotel’s page, it shows you the average cost per night through the year. It’s just hotel and passes but is a great place to start. Here’s Disney’ Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel for April 2022…

Popular dates will drive up prices for your stay. It’s the age old demand vs supply. As supply dwindles prices increase. And you’ll always see prices advertised with “subject to availability”.

Ticket durations, park inclusions and duration of validity will all impact the cost of your tickets. Also, the time of year you’re travelling as Peak dates cost more. And prices increase year on year. All things to consider when calculating the cost of your Disneyland Paris holiday. Hotel stays in resort booked with Disney or a Disney Star Agent include passes, but if you’re staying off-resort you’ll need to factor in the price of passes!

Spending money

Just as with your cost of living in the UK, your spending money needs will be reflected in your spending habits and values. There are ways to save money, for example the meal plans can save you considerably, and feature up to 33 restaurants and quick service dining options (you’re not restricted to your hotel) AND it can help you budget easily.

I hope this has answered how much does a Disney land Paris package costs? You can travel on a coach, staying for 2 nights, with 2 days in the Parks from £199pp.

Total cost of a Disneyland Paris trip

There is no way to definitively give you a total cost of the trip to France, there are so many variables as explained above. We’ve booked Disneyland Paris trips which included flights, accommodation and tickets for a family of 2 adults and 2 children around 5 for as little as £2200, a family of 5 in Village Nature with just 2 days in the Parks for £3000, 2 adults and 4 children, in 2 rooms in July summer holidays for under £4000 and an 5* Disneyland Paris Hotel for 2 adults, 1 child under 7 Full Board for £3800.

If budget is the biggest factor then you will have to be willing to compromise on any of the variables. A Disneyland Paris trip is a great option if you don’t want to travel as far as Florida. If you’re interested we’ve got a pricing guide for Walt Disney World Florida too.
