What are Princess cruise ships like?
All Princess cruise ships are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. They focus on spacious rooms and public areas plus modern features to help you relax and enjoy a wonderful cruise holiday.
There are 18 ships in Princess Cruises’ fleet, two of which are small cruise ships offering a more intimate experience. Every vessel offers exciting on-board entertainment and activities as well as high quality dining. Look forward to an excellent cruise regardless of your chosen ship or where you go.
Younger passengers love Princess too. All Princess cruise ships have clubs on-board for children and teenagers, except for the smaller ship Pacific Princess. Which does run activities when more than 20 children are sailing. This ship is tailored for adults looking for a relaxed cruise holiday to Italy, France, Spain, Miami, Vancouver, Copenhagen and more.

Who goes on a Princess cruise?
Princess Cruises attracts a widespread passenger base. As its ships vary so widely in style and services, choosing carefully is a good idea. The large and mid-sized ships attract broad, multi generational demographics — everyone from solo travellers to family groups will find something they like.
Pacific Princess caters to more mature travellers who want longer itineraries, more offbeat ports of call and fewer family-friendly elements.
What are the dress codes for a Princess cruise?
You should dress for a cruise with Princess the same way you would for any stylish land-based resort.
Casual sportswear, including shorts, lightweight pants and jogging suits, is the order of the day both at sea and ashore in hotter climates.
We recommend you bring a sweater, a jacket or an all-weather coat for cool evenings. And for shore excursions, depending on your destination. Due to unpredictable weather, don’t forget a hat or visor and a collapsible umbrella. Please be sure to bring proper clothing for visits to religious sites. You’ll also want low-heeled, rubber soled shoes for strolling on deck, as well as comfortable walking shoes or sandals to wear.
Princess makes it easy to know what to pack and what to wear when you’re dining on board. There are two designations for dress codes: Smart Casual and Formal.
Guest attire should be in keeping with what they would wear to a nice restaurant at home.
Skirts/dresses, slacks, and sweaters for ladies
Pants and open-neck shirts for men
Not welcome in the dining rooms are pool or beach attire, shorts, ball caps and casual jeans (with fraying and/or holes). Shoes must be worn.
On formal nights guests observe the dress code in the Traditional Dining and Anytime Dining venues for the enjoyment of everyone.
Evening gowns and cocktail dresses for women
Tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits with a tie for men
